Sunday Worship Text

Here is the Order of Service for our Sunday Worship as text only.

Welcome

Get Ready…

Almighty God, You know everything we need and want and nothing is hidden from you. We are here to worship you, to pray for the needs of the world, and to listen to your Word. Fill us with your Holy Spirit and open our hearts to your love. Amen.

Confession

We all think things, say things, and do things that we know hurt God and hurt those we love. We also forget and fail to live the way we should, and disrespect God’s world. So let us spend a moment in quiet to recognise our own mistakes and failures before we pray the Lord’s Prayer together.

A moment of silence is kept.

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and for ever. Amen.

Thanksgiving

The Lord is here

His spirit is with us

Lift up your hearts

We lift them to the Lord

Let us give thanks to the Lord our God

It is right to give him thanks and praise

We praise you, heavenly Father, for your son, our Saviour Jesus Christ, who in the same night that he was betrayed, took bread and gave you thanks. He broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying: “Take, eat, this is my body which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”

We praise and thank you, loving Father, through Jesus Christ our Lord. As we obey your command, send your Holy Spirit, that this bread may be for us the body of your precious Son.

Dear Friends, receive the body of our Lord Jesus Christ with faith and thanksgiving. Remember that he gave himself for you. Remember that he died for you, and allow him to feed and nourish your body, mind, and spirit.

Song – Let there be Peace

Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me. Let there be peace on earth, the peace that was meant to be. With God our creator, family all are we. Let us walk with each other in perfect harmony.

Let peace begin with me, let this be the moment now. With every step I take let this be my solemn vow: to take each moment and live each moment in peace eternally. Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me.
