Projects
Proclaiming the good news of Jesus and being witnesses to God's love.
St. Mark's is a family connected to each other and also connected to God. Our mission is very simple, to proclaim the good news of Jesus, and to be witnesses to God's love. As God has loved us, so we seek to love and bless our community here in Smith's Parish.
The Lord's Larder
The Lord's Larder is a project to support those in need in Smith's Parish with a weekly grocery bag of essentials. Working in conjunction with Harrington Hundreds supermarket, Whitney School, and Holy Trinity Church, we distribute 18 bags a week. At Christmas we also provided over 40 Christmas hampers for families in the parish. If you would like to contribute to this project, please do get in touch. Call Helen on 236-8360.
Skate Park Project
St. Mark's Church are exploring the possibility of building a skatepark in the lower, west-end carpark alongside St. Mark's Road. This is a great opportunity to work with the wider community and bless our young people. The park will be ideal for BMX riders, skaters, and scooters. If you would like to be involved in any aspect of this project, contact Rev Gav on 236-8360. Alternatively, join our Facebook page.
